Sempacks (spouted flat packs) have become very popular.

Sempacks have a small hard spout that fit into all kinds of catheters and connectors. This spout is sealed in an "envelope". Attachment to a catheter is simple. The tip is "popped" out of the envelope and inserted into the catheter.

The Rotech Flat-Pack filling station is made from welded polypropylene. The stand has an integral roll holder for Sempacks. Semen can be dispensed directly from a Sembag (14/0070 or 14/0071) using a Needle & Tube set (4509540-10), some Connector Tubing (04/1018) and a Sembag Clip (14/0045).

The Manual Bench Heat Sealer is a low cost method of sealing individual sempacks. The sealer may also be mounted on a vertical surface.

Filling Sempacks is very simple. They are filled using a Needle - a rigid tube with a shaped tip - through an opening at the end of the Sempack. Depending on the filling equipment, Connector Tubing joins the Needle to the Sembag or other semen container.

Some Sempack filling systems need only the Needle which can be connected directly to the Sembag, either by using Connector Tubing or with a Flat-Pack Tie.

If Sempacks are to be used at the same location as the filling operation, it is sometimes possible to use them without sealing. These clips will close them temporarily.

These two types of connector tubing can be used to connect a Sembag to a tube and needle set or directly to a needle, depending on the type of filling system used.

Diluent bags are used in conjunction with the IMV "Planchette" Manual Flat-Pack Filling & Sealing machine. The diluent and semen are mixed in the Diluent Bag and dispensed from it into individual Flat-Pack doses.
