The
life of a deioniser cartridge can be greatly extended by connecting
a reverse osmosis purification unit upsteam of it, eg the
TGI Mini RO Unit. This is particularly useful where TDS of
feed water is relatively high. The RO membrane will take out
more than 95% of all minerals and bacteria.
